Insideofiran/2011-01-05 - World Association for protection of human rights in Iran, with regard to the recent attacks by the Iranian regime on Hojatoleslam Karroubi and his fellow members of opposition (Mir Hussein Mousavi and Zahra Rahnavd) wrote in its open letter that: "The Iranian people will never forget Hojatoleslam Karroubi’s courageous defense of Human Rights of Sufis , against the oppressive forces of Iranian regime that were responsible for attacking and destroying Sufi’s Houses of worship and assaulting and imprisoning of Sufis in Iran. People of Iran will in turn stand firm in their support of Hojatoleslam Mehdi Karroubi, Mir Hussein Mousavi and Zahra Rahnavd.

Hojatoleslam Sheikh Mehdi Karroubi!

In your recent a letter to the Iranian people you stated that “you fully welcome an open trail by the regimes on issues it considers trial worthy.” "However, one must note that those within the regime who talk about prosecuting you, Mir Hussein Mousavi and Zahra Rahnavd must be under an illusion and an assumption that you, Mir Hussein Mousavi and Zahra Rahnavd have all lost the Iranian people’s support and interest, and your concerns for free and open society are not shared with the Iranian population.

But they are greatly mistaken in their assumption. In fact your supports are growing every day and your fans and followers are willing to step into the street and protest against any slight threat, aggression or false accusations against you, Mir Hussein Mousavi and Zahra Rahnavd.

For example, if one needs to look for an evidence of coherence and coordination within the people and their willingness to come out into street and protest against injustices faced by those they care about one needs to look no further than recent events on Sunday 2nd January 2011; When approximately 5000 people came out into streets in order to protest the arrest of a much beloved Sufi Master (Mr. Mahjobi). Mr. Mahjobi was assaulted, and arrested by the Iranian intelligence forces and then taken to the Central Prison of Esfahan (Dastgerd). Soon as this news reached his supporters, in matters of few hours approximately 5000 people gathered outside the prison protesting and demanding the release of Mr. Mahjobi. Who was released few hours later by the authorities in face of mass protest.

The Iranian people will never forget your courageous defense of Human Rights of Sufis, against oppressive forces of Iranian regime that were responsible for attacking and destroying Sufi Houses of worship and assaulting and imprisoning of Sufis in Iran. You can rest assure that the people of Iran will in turn stand steadfast in their support of you, Mir Hussein Mousavi and Zahra Rahnavd.
